CLIENT: British Waterways
DURATION: 1 week (inside time deadline).
The Problem:
Leakage had occurred to the wall of Kennet and Avon Canal in Bath and around an underground weir chamber next to the lock.
This had led to flooding to a residential garden at the rear of the towpath.
The Solution:
H2Ox Engineers devised a method of drilling within the weir chamber and vertically through the canal wall to intercept the various flow paths.
They then systematically injected a fast reacting single component polyurethane.
