Team Leader

(Construction Repair Operatives)

North of England and London

Oxford Hydrotechnics is a market leading resin injection and concrete grouting specialist firm working on prestigious projects across the UK and Europe.  We often attend site visits at short notice and use cutting edge techniques to meet our client’s needs. Our products and services are totally unique and innovative which means we provide our staff with a bespoke set of training and skills to enable them to carry out their roles. Due to the specialist training we are able offer a defined path for career progression whereby staff can progress into managerial or specialist roles.

 

The Role

 

As a Team Leader you will lead a small team of Repair Operatives in making repairs to concrete, soil and various structures, using specialist resin injection and concrete grouting techniques. You will oversee the operation of drilling, operating and maintaining water and resin pumps. This may include specialist products such as isocyanate and epoxy based products, which require precision and accuracy. You will coordinate and plan the daily works from a method statement and drawings, and will complete regular checks for quality and compliance whilst working to tight deadlines. You will be responsible for training Operatives, conducting risk assessments, on site client liaison and completion of daily progress reports. You will be responsible for fault finding and resolution on site in conjunction with the Engineers and the Site or Contract Manager.

 

The Person

 

You will ideally hold a CSCS card and a clean driving license. Experience of concrete repairs or construction is advantageous however the key requirements are:

 

 

You must be:

 

 

45 hours per week (8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday)

 

Salary £28000 - 30000 per annum

 

Overnight allowance of £15 per shift (up to £2880 per annum)

 

28 days holiday including bank holidays

Civil Engineer – near Oxfordshire

Our products and services are totally unique and innovative which means we provide our staff with a bespoke set of training and skills to enable them to carry out their roles. We are going through a period of growth and require a new engineer to meet our current sales demands.

 

The Role

 

As an Engineer you will be responsible for all aspects of project engineering activities associated with enquiries, site assessment and successful contracts. You will produce solutions and identify remedial actions in relation to ground stabilisation and leak repair using specialist products, techniques and engineering knowledge. Specific tasks will include carrying out site inspections, producing detailed product specifications, preparing budgetary estimates and producing client proposals. You will be responsible for managing projects from conception to completion whilst ensuring accurate project documentation including drawings, equipment requirements, method statements and risk assessments.

40 hours per week (8.30am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday)

 

Salary circa £30,000 per annum

 

28 days holiday including bank holidays

Construction Repair Operatives

North of England and London

Our products and services are totally unique and innovative which means we provide our staff with a bespoke set of training and skills to enable them to carry out their roles. Due to the specialist training, we are able offer a defined path for career progression whereby staff can join as Operative and progress to supervisory or specialist roles.

 

The Role

 

As a Repair Operative you will be responsible for making repairs to concrete, soil and various structures, using specialist resin injection and concrete grouting techniques. Working as part of a team of three, your tasks will include operating drills, operating and maintaining water and resin pumps, manual handling, labouring, stock checking, driving company vans, completing paperwork. Working with specialist products including isocyanate and epoxy based products requires precision and accuracy and the ability to work from plans and instruction from a Team Leader. For those that show a willingness to learn the entire range of our techniques and products, there is an opportunity to progress through our three grades of Operative role to Team Leader.

 

The Person

 

You will ideally hold a CSCS card and a clean driving license. Experience of concrete repairs or construction is advantageous however the key requirements are:

Salary £23000 – 26000 per annum

 

Overnight allowance of £15 per shift (up to £2880 per annum)
