Underground Car Park Project Case Study
Resin injection leak sealing to repair defects in an underground car park.
Various waterproofing defects had been discovered in the underground car park of a property in Sheffield. They mainly occurred through construction joints within the cast insitu concrete floor slab.
H2Ox were called in by main Contractor to devise a solution. H2Ox engineers proposed and implemented a polyurethane resin injection solution to treat the affected construction joints.
A systematic injection of the joints was carried out over one weekend in order to minimise disruption to the occupiers of the building. The car park was successfully sealed in one visit.
